A few snaps from our stall at Croft Christmas Fair in Old Town, Swindon; people enjoying our free tasters and some of the products we had available. It was a successful day; big thanks to all those who came and supported us.
Except for the lucky few close friends, this was the first chance for the eager Swindon public to get a taste of our new launched Artisan Project beer.
Once the clock ticked past the pyschological midday subconscious barrier and the free samples were cracked open, it’s fair to say the Old Town Brewery stall became rather popular.
On offer were the Artisan Craft Beer Project brews #1, #2, #3 (all variants of a Green Hop Harvest Pale Ale) and #4, which our Head Brewer quietly admits to being his own personal favourite winter warmer. Brew #4 is a Porter with the expected intensity in roasted notes and smooth finish, but with a added twist via the juice of freshly foraged Elderberries.
As always, the Elderflower Bubbly (we respect the French too much to refer to it as Champagne and find ‘Sparkling Wine’ too much of a mouthful (no pun intended)) was a huge hit, featuring as a nicely packaged Christmas present for that deserved Aunty, Mum or Gran.
Heading into the New Year we’ll be setting up regular stalls at Craft Fares and Farmers’ Markets locally around Swindon.
